This one takes us in a totally different direction than the last few did. Lately, I’ve felt inspired by the recent crop of seemingly zeitgeist-nailing bands with that darker, multi-dimensional and somewhat wistful sound. It feels totally perfect for the changing seasons and for the general transition into fall (think witchy: Deerhunter, oOoOO, Salem, Warpaint, Glasser).
While it’s easy to do the buzz band thang, I wanted to add my own style, you know – shake it up with some rock, hip hop, electro, and bits of cheddah tossed in in for fun. 🙂
This season inspires me. I hope to maybe pass some inspiration your way, too.
