“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
One definition of legacy is what someone feels, thinks and says when they hear your name. What are you doing today to build the legacy you want?
(Author: Tim Belber)
To be myself: ah, that is true freedom. Like Emerson says, it really is the greatest accomplishment.
I’d like to leave a thought that we can all be open minded, thought-provoking citizens. We can be mindful with our words, tactical with our tongues, and committed to opening the eyes, minds, and hearts of others. Our thoughts and ways of life are dictated by our inner selves and that voice alone. It’s important to remember that with so much noise coming from the outside.
What am I doing today to build the legacy I want?
I’m attempting to create as much as I can. My hope is that this work – this play with my passions, that is – eventually adds up to something meaningful.
